Review by Douglas Matsudo

Jazz Me Blues Tin Roof Blues by Bob Crosby's Bob Cats New Orleans Rhythm Kings is a classic album that captures the essence of jazz music. The album features some of the most talented musicians of their time, including Bob Crosby, Eddie Miller, and Ray Bauduc.

The album's opening track, "Jazz Me Blues," sets the tone for the entire album with its upbeat tempo and intricate melodies. The Bob Cats' performance is flawless, and the listener can't help but tap their feet along with the music.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Tin Roof Blues," which features a stunning solo by Eddie Miller on the clarinet. The song's catchy melody and lively rhythm make it a fan favorite to this day.

About Bob Crosby's Bob Cats New Orleans Rhythm Kings

Band formed c.a. 1935, from a bigger orchestra (with musicians such as Yank Lawson, Matty Matlock and Dean Kincaide). Crosby's "band-within-the-band," the Bob-Cats, was an authentic New Orleans Dixieland-style jazz octet featuring soloists drawn from the larger orchestra, many of whom were from New Orleans or were heavily influenced by the music of the Crescent City.
